

Synopsis
Brian Reynolds, a double amputee below the knee athlete, has triumphed over numerous challenges throughout his life. Growing up without a role model to guide him, he has embarked on a mission to empower para athletes by demonstrating that nothing is beyond reach. Join us in this documentary as we follow Brian's journey to make history by becoming the first double amputee to conquer the legendary Leadville 100 Ultra Trail Marathon in Colorado.

• 2024 10k World Record holder on the roads
• 3x World’s Fastest time in the marathon for double below the knee amputees

About the Director
With a daily running streak going strong since 2017, Mike Grasela is a seven-time Boston Marathon finisher, a thirteen-time marathoner overall, and the owner of Minutemen Post LLC. Based in Boston, Mike is a filmmaker who has been in the post-production world for over 10 years. Recently, he stepped out of the editing and coloring cave to direct his debut documentary, 'Brian Reynolds: The Leadville Trail 100.’
As it makes its way through the festival circuit, this film has played in 8 countries (USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Greece, France, Germany and Ireland) and over 100+ cities so far. It has gotten into 5 film festivals - the most notable are The Trail Film Festival (currently on tour) and The Breckenridge Film Festival (September 2024). It also has won a Silver Telly Award, and has been a finalist at the Red Movie Awards, and the Golden Short Festival.
